The only golf clubhouse in the world designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The Nakoma Lodge was designed by Wright in 1924 — the version at Nakoma Resort is the only one ever built. The Fifty44 Restaurant and bar are inside. Plan to spend time here before and after your round.
Slope 147 is the most demanding rating in the Graeagle valley. Forced carries over canyon terrain, no bail-out on the par-3s, and fairway positions that punish the wrong side. Play the White tees (slope 130) if you are a 15+ handicapper. The slope drops significantly and the round is far more enjoyable.
The Dragon is perched above the wild Feather River in Plumas County. Several holes play over or alongside the canyon — the views are genuine, not manufactured. Hole 7 is a par-3 over a chasm with the river visible below. Hole 18 returns to the FLW clubhouse through canyon terrain.
