Open meadows, towering pines, the original Graeagle experience
★★★★★"Fun track to play! Staff were extremely friendly. Course was in solid shape. It reminds me of one of my home courses but with great views. There’s some dead areas on some of the course but I can’t knock it a star for it. Go check it out if you’re in the area we will be back!"

★★★★★"Fantastic course. Well manicured and the greens run fast. Nice long fairways, lined by pines. The occasional sneaky bunker or water trap to keep you on your toes Beautiful back drops of Forrest and wildlife. Only downside is the cart paths. Like driving off-road."

★★★★★"Just visited one of my FAVORITE golf courses! Beautiful setting, reasonable golf rates. Variety of local shops with unique wood, metal decor as well as QUEEN BEE FASHION store...one of my favorites! Whenever I visit Reno, I make it a point to visit Graeagle, it’s such a beautiful place & only 65 miles from Reno! They not only offer golf, but cabin & home rentals for a wonderful getaway for a weekend or for a week’s vacation! So RELAXING!!! 😎 Just love it!👍🥰"

★★★★★"We had a great round of golf with great friends in a spectacular setting. It was towards the end of the season and the greens were sanded and aerated. But the deer and geese were plentiful on the fairways!"

Opened in 1968, Graeagle Meadows is where Graeagle golf began. Ellis Van Gorder's design winds through open Sierra meadows and tall ponderosa pines along the Middle Fork of the Feather River. At 6,759 yards with a slope of 120, it's the most approachable of the five courses — ideal for mixed-handicap groups and first-time visitors to the valley. The signature 6th, "English Gold," drops from elevated tees to sweeping views of Mohawk Valley and the Feather River below.
Most accessible of the 5 courses
slope 120
Classic tree-lined parkland design
Open meadow holes with Sierra views
Elevated tees drop to a tree-lined fairway with sweeping views of Mohawk Valley, the Feather River, and the Sierra Nevada beyond. One of the most photographed holes in the valley.
First-time Graeagle visitors, mixed-handicap groups, and anyone who wants a classic mountain round without the penalty-heavy terrain of the higher-slope courses.
Single-digit handicappers looking for a serious test — slope 120 plays comfortably and won't challenge low-handicap golfers the way Whitehawk, Grizzly, or Nakoma will.
The ideal arrival-day round. Easy enough to shake off travel, close to the village, and sets the tone for the valley. Most 3-day packages start here on day one.
