Mike Eskuchen grew up in Glenview, Illinois and studied at Western Illinois University before heading west to launch his career as a PGA Golf Professional in Palm Springs. He spent 8 years in the California desert teaching the game, competing, and working the tee sheets at private and semi-private clubs. He knows how golfers think because he is one.
A move to Sparks, NV brought him to Red Hawk Golf Club and Wingfield Springs — two of Northern Nevada's top courses — where he ran golf sales for over a decade and built a market reputation across the Sierra Nevada corridor. He started a family during those years, including twin boys born in 2009.
That reputation led to a Director of Sales role at Duncan Golf Management, where he helped grow the company from 2 golf courses to 9 in under 5 years. He then took on the Director of Sales and then General Manager & COO role at Hidden Valley Country Club in Reno — overseeing full club operations and growing membership to 90% capacity.
Today Mike is Account Manager at Golf the High Sierra, personally building itineraries for GolfGraeagle.com packages. Outside work he coaches football and baseball for his twin boys and enjoys pretty much every outdoor activity the Sierra Nevada has to offer.
